About The Event

Event Description: Sankofa Journey to Harmony – May 29th - June 2nd

Join us for a transformative experience on our Sankofa Journey to Harmony, led by Pastor Andy Gray and Pastor Jonathan Brooks. This journey, held from April 23rd to 27th, is more than just a trip; it's a profound exploration of our shared history and a step towards racial reconciliation and unity.

About the Journey:

"Sankofa" is a powerful term from the Akan tribe in Ghana, meaning "go back and get it." This journey invites participants to revisit critical moments in our nation's racial history, especially the pivotal points of the Civil Rights Movement. Through this immersive experience, we aim to gain a deeper understanding of our past to inform and shape our present and future.

What to Expect:

- Educational Tours: Visit significant historical sites that played a key role in the Civil Rights Movement.

- Reflective Discussions: Engage in meaningful conversations about the impact of these historical events on today's society.

- Community Building: Connect with fellow participants to share experiences, learn from each other, and build lasting relationships.

Who Should Attend:

This journey is open to anyone passionate about understanding racial history and committed to the cause of racial harmony. It’s particularly impactful for community leaders, church members, educators, and students.
